BCFLIP Program
The Brenda Conroy Future Leaders Internship (BCFLIP) is a four-week immersive program designed for women currently pursuing undergraduate studies in Information Technology.
Facilitated by Data#3 in partnership with Cisco, and supported by Women in Digital and several leading Queensland universities, the program provides interns with hands-on IT internship experience across Data#3 and Cisco offices, along with valuable career guidance and mentoring.
About the Brenda Conroy Future Leaders Internship
The Brenda Conroy Future Leaders Internship has been specifically created to honour one of our longest standing employees, Brenda Conroy. Brenda started with Data#3 back in 1985 and spent the early days of her career in a variety of roles, from logistics and warehousing to customer support and sales administration. Her dedication to both her peers and customers was unique and her influence and contribution to the business helped shape the company into the entity it is today.
Throughout the internship, participants attend meetings with Sales and Services teams, shadow IT professionals like system engineers and technical support staff, and gain exposure to support services including Digital Marketing, Legal Counsel, Human Resources, and Supply Chain. This broad experience offers interns a holistic view of the ICT industry and helps them explore potential career pathways within the tech sector.
